Nokia E61 firmware update. Not!
So much for an available update as rumoured on the net…
Note that there is NO NEW FIRMWARE available at this time. Hopefully Nokia doesn’t count on selling the new firmware to us in form of another €400 device and an “including the new feature pack 1″ sticker on the box.

As you can see I never told there would be an update but asked if anyone could confirm if there is one to be released. Perhaps I should have rephrased that line a bit.

Your post was perfectly fine Daniel. I waited for a few days having read about the ‘update’ to see if anyone could confirm it. Since noone did, I’ve decided to do the service myself..
Now it’s clear, at l(e)ast.
